Anna in Wonderland

Hi! (she really says that to me)
My name is Anna. I'd like to welcome you to my crib. See? I really DO have a crib!
This is where I sleep, and sometimes don't sleep.
Today I'm not sleepy, so let me show you around.
This is my tree. I love the texture. Not as smooth as my blankie, but I still like to touch it.
This is my sitting-on-the-leopard-print-pillow spot. I have a view of my toys from here.
Ahhh, my very cushy, comfy reading and rocking chair.
This is my corner spot. Isn't the light lovely over here?

Since my mom worked so very hard painting this WONDER-ful Land for me, I thought I'd let her get in on the tour of my crib.
She spent hundreds of hours while she was waiting for me to bake in her tummy to paint all of this.
Isn't she a wonderful artist? I think she's the best. Just look at this place!
I think I'm very lucky, don't you?
Time for my nap now, but thanks for stopping by.

Is this not the most INCREDIBLE room you've ever seen? I felt like I WAS Alice walking around in here shooting this most delightful, adorable baby. She's one of my favs.
And she really does say "Hi!" all the time.
Thanks for a happy morning, Anna.

Doodle Bug & Friends

I finally have a new nickname for the little baby.
The other night I was holding her and said she was a little doodle-bug.
I got the first big, I mean really big, coo and smile, with a gurgle on top.
That's it! She is now my Doodle-Bug Baby.
Here is what things look like at her house when I get to go over to babysit.
Front door wide open (big bro told me she loves nature).
Pink bear-skin rug, marvelous light, sparkling eyes and a smiling, happy baby.
I turned her so she was looking outside. She was fasinated with the view and continued to smile and coo at the trees and whatever else she was seeing out there. I sat, fasinated, watching her.
On to my other buddies..........
They were still in the Olympic spirit at the park last Sunday.
Here you see their game they called Synchronized Swinging with a Jump at the End.

As they climbed Mt. Olympus I decided they were both worthy of a gold medal and an ice cream. I'm hoping and praying that all of my family and friends are safe and find shelter in the wake of Hurricane Ike.

A few fun shots

I am overwhelmed. I'm remodeling my loft and have chaos all around me.
I keep all of my photos, books, important papers of mine, and photo equipment in this area.
It is also where my computer/processing lab is.

I needed to take a break, so I decided to look at some of the non-wedding photos from last weekend's trip out west.

Love and Marriage

Here's a little sneak peek of the wedding of Steve and Erin which took place at a beautiful private home in Breckenridge, Colorado last Saturday.

The flowers were all done in greens and white.....

The groom thought his bride was lovely.......is that a look of love or what?

With this ring I thee wed.......

Now where's that threshold?
While taking some shots in the wooded area, the bride got serious. I felt like an intruder, but was glad I was there to get the shot.
They were so happy that it was contagious!

A little clowning around. Check out Erin's gorgeous shoes. This was her gift to the groom. He was so touched that he gave her yet another kiss.

This is only skimming the surface. I shot 1019 photos at this wedding. I couldn't help myself, it was such a beautiful setting and they were all so pretty! Joe & Abby were in the wedding so I'll share some of them tomorrow.

Happy honeymoon to the newly wedded couple, and thanks for inviting us to share this special day with you.
